Let's find the help your family is owed.

Reckon is here to do the difficult part with you. A few plain questions, by voice or by tapping, and you will know where you stand.

£5.2 billion
of care money goes unclaimed each year. When people were asked why, two in three said they assumed they wouldn't qualify. Only 2 in 100 blamed the form.
💡 Owning a home or having savings does not stop the main one. That is the thing most people get wrong, and it is why so much of this money is never claimed.

Why do they think they can't claim?

In their own words, as near as you can remember. Reckon will find the official rule that answers it.

Building the claim
What makes a good answer?

Say what happens, how often, and what would go wrong if you weren't there. Times and real events count for far more than words like “a lot” or “she struggles”.

Someone else's answers, to show the shape:

  • “She gets confused in the afternoons and I talk her through washing, it takes about forty minutes.”
  • “Three or four nights a week, usually twice a night, once about midnight and once around four.”
  • “She'd try to go downstairs on her own. She fell in March and cracked a rib doing exactly that.”

Please don't copy these. They are someone else's life, and this form has to be true about yours.

“I don't know” is a safe answer here too. It just means that part stays blank for you to fill in later.
